Republican Central Isotope Laboratory (RCIL) is established at the Institute of Nuclear Physics AS RU   in conformity with Regulations  Cabinet Council of Uzbekistan Republic No. 637-fм from 02.11.2004 .,with the aim of strenthening and improving the methods of control, technical state, infering a  conclusion of possibility further exploitation, implementation works on charging, recharging, temporary storage and utilization of sources, as well as using ionizing radiation sources(IRS) in industrial enterprises, in scientific-research, medical and other institutions at the territory of Uzbekistan Republi..

 

 The basic tasks and activity areas of  RCIL

1. Development, manufacturing and issuing passports/certificates/ for radioisotope devices;
2. Mounting and  dismantling, balancing and commissioning works and  repair of radioisotope devices with  assembly of  ionizing radiation sources(IRS);
3. Check-in the technical state and hermeticity of IRS and devices with radioactive materials;
4. Extension time  of IRS services with  official registration of  certificate about extension of time for exploitation;
5. Charging, recharging, dismantling, collection, keeping of IRS and radioisotope devices;
6. Reception for temporary keeping  of IRS and obtaining-issuing to  consumers/customers of IRS;
7. Reception for utilization of IRS;
8. Preparation and  delivery process for  disposal/burial/, which become  worthless state of IRS and radioactive materials.
